\"Kids Helping Kids\" is a new group in Hospicare\'s Good Grief Program, the part of our bereavement support offerings designed specifically for children.
This group is for children ages 8-11 who are grieving a death of a significant person. Children will be supported in expressing their feelings, sharing about their loved one and have community with others. This group will be co-facilitated by Kira Lallas, LMSW, and Leslie Shakespeare, LCSW-R.
Please note that while most Good Grief events are one-time sessions and open to both bereavement children and their families/caregivers, this event requires a commitment to attend all four sessions, and is for bereaved children only. The event is otherwise free and open to the public.
Please register with Kira (klallas@hospicare.orgor 607-272-0212) by January 20, 2012.
