Program underwriting allows businesses and individuals to support WICB. In exchange, the station airs donor acknowledgement announcements that identify, but do not promote the business.

Announcements may contain the following information:

• The name of the business
• Its location, phone number, and Internet address
• A brief description of products and services offered
